The rules that make
SocialAmp work for everyone
SocialAmp is built on a simple idea: real professionals helping each other grow through genuine, human engagement. These eight rules protect that idea — for you and every other member in your group.
Last updated: May 22, 2026
Be Respectful
Treat every member with respect. Personal attacks, threats, harassment, or bullying of any kind — directed at group members or anyone else — will not be tolerated.
- ✗No personal attacks or insults directed at members
- ✗No threats of any kind
- ✗No mocking or belittling other members
Professional Language
Keep your language professional. Profanity, slurs, sexually explicit content, or language that would be inappropriate in a professional workplace setting is prohibited.
- ✗No profanity or crude language
- ✗No slurs of any kind
- ✗No sexually explicit content
Authentic Engagement Only
Comments and posts must be original and genuine. Copy-paste comments, AI-generated filler responses, and empty engagement bait are not acceptable. LinkedIn's algorithm detects low-quality engagement — and so do we.
- ✗No "Great post!" without substance
- ✗No copy-pasted identical comments across posts
- ✗No AI-generated filler responses
Give Before You Take
Engage meaningfully with your peers' content before posting your own. SocialAmp is a community of mutual support — members who only take without contributing will be removed.
- ✗Engage with at least 2–3 peers' posts each week
- ✗Leave substantive comments, not just likes
- ✗Be present in the group chat, not just when you have content to share
No Spam or Mass Promotion
Do not post promotional content, sales pitches, affiliate links, or unsolicited offers in group chats. Sharing your own LinkedIn content for group engagement is encouraged — marketing yourself to the group is not.
- ✗No "buy my course" or "check out my program" posts
- ✗No affiliate or referral links
- ✗No repeated posting of the same content
No Unsolicited Pitches
Do not use SocialAmp's direct message system to send unsolicited sales pitches or promotional messages to other members. Direct messages should be used for genuine professional connection.
- ✗No cold pitching via DM
- ✗No promotional messages sent to multiple members
- ✗No "just checking in" sequences designed to sell
Stay Professional
Keep discussions relevant to professional growth, LinkedIn strategy, and related topics. SocialAmp is a professional community — not a general social media platform or a place for highly divisive personal or political discussions.
- ✗Keep discussions related to professional development and LinkedIn
- ✗Avoid content that would alienate or polarize other professionals
Protect Member Privacy
Do not share other members' personal information, contact details, or private communications outside of SocialAmp without their explicit consent.
- ✗Don't share screenshots of private DMs without permission
- ✗Don't share members' personal contact info
- ✗Don't discuss another member's situation outside the platform
Enforcement
Violations are detected automatically by our daily content scan and reviewed by our moderation team before any action is taken. We follow a graduated response — most issues are resolved with a warning.
A direct message explaining the violation and the applicable guideline. Most members never need more than this.
Your account is temporarily restricted. You cannot post in group chats or send DMs for 24 hours. A DM is sent with the exact restoration time.
A final warning DM is sent. You are informed that the next violation will result in permanent account termination.
Your account is permanently terminated. Your email address and LinkedIn profile are blocked from creating a new account. This cannot be appealed except in cases of clear error.
Severe violations — including threats, slurs, or harassment — may result in immediate permanent termination without the graduated process above.
Believe an action was taken in error? Email support@socialamp.io with the subject "Moderation Appeal" within 7 days.
Why these rules exist
LinkedIn's algorithm now actively detects and suppresses engagement pods, AI-generated comments, and low-quality interactions. One member posting a generic AI comment doesn't just hurt their own reach — it signals to LinkedIn that your group's engagement is inauthentic, which suppresses everyone's content distribution.
SocialAmp works precisely because it is not a pod. It is a curated community of real professionals having real conversations. These rules protect that — for everyone.
